Frostbite, Water Vikings Capital- Hey Vikings,Junior Media is back on track! 🌊💗 Today, you’ll get to know a little more about some of our wonderful promoted staff! I sat down with them and asked them a few questions about their journey, and their experiences.
So, without further ado… let’s begin, shall we?
1- First of all, tell us more about yourself and how you joined WV!
Jess: I’m Jess, (now) Viking Guard. I have 3 precious cats, and I love Halloween and Christmas! Isagi recruited me just after I had gotten on CPJ. I played the OG as a kid, and found CPJ existed, and just had to get on! I joined WV almost 7 months ago, and have been Staff for about 5 months.
Emjay: I’m Emjay, your Mexican bestie and proud cinephile. I joined back in April 2026, after Escot recruited me from a CPJ event and haven’t turned back since. Got staff in May and well, here we are, 5 months later.
Kev: My name is Kev, now known as Kerb lol. I’ve been in Water Vikings for a year and in staff for 11 months, almost a year.
Sarah: Hii, I’m Sarah, I used to play the OG version of Club Penguin back in (maybe) 2006/2008 and I think I played for a couple years after that (maybe around 2013/2014). I started playing Club Penguin Journey, February 21st 2026, and on March 7th, I saw a bunch of penguins, on Sleet, in the Town, and thought they looked fun, with their cameras around their neck, so I joined the event. At the end of the event, Stevos recruited me, and I can’t thank him enough for that. I have been staff for 5 months now, and it’s been amazing to help keep this community safe, and make sure people have fun!
Anna: Hiiii my name is Anna, usually known as Topangwen or some variant of that name, and I joined the Water Vikings almost 6 months ago which is WILD to think about. One day I was just hanging out on CPJ, when I saw all these penguins in the plaza with jet packs floating around, I had one too, so I decided why not join in this seems like a ton of fun. In turn, I joined as a rogue from CPJ and shout out to Kath for recruiting me I am so grateful.
Aleksandr: Hiii, I’m Aleksandr, a not so old member of the Armies community! I joined in my first army back in 2024 and last year in August after some things that happened, I contacted Rye Bread to join Water Vikings because that was a place which could help me chisel my personality into an army.
Popes: Hi, I’m Popes, or Popeyes! I got recruited by Stevos (rest in reform 🙏 ) last year and joined the server in December of 2025. I had been playing CPJ for just like a month or something, but was an avid player of the OG Club Penguin! I really missed it, that’s how I found out about CPJ. Meanwhile, I got into Viking Academy and became a staff member in May, which has been both a fun and challenging experience!
2-Â What was your favourite moment in water Vikings so far ?
Jess: 13-0 Win against TCP, but overall, the community/family WV is! Seeing WV grow to become what it is, is something I’m so grateful to get to be a part of.
Emjay: I’m torn between two, ngl. The war against TCP, because I didn’t know anything about CPA, and the day after I joined we got declared on. It was daunting but honestly, it turned out to be an amazing learning experience and the outcome was fantastic. At the same time, the first time we did a proper event for the Lusohispanic Division was also a highlight of my year and probably will be for my entire WV career.
Kev: There are two favorite moments: when we almost reached 90 in last year’s Legend Cups, and when we went to war with TCP, one of the peak moments tbh.
Anna: So many memories thus far, but really when we swept Templars when I first joined that really got me curious about armies, and this community as a whole! I also just enjoy connecting with the community, and all the events and fun interactions we have had together.
Sarah: I think I would have to say how many great friends I have made, and ofc the 13-0 Win against Templars, in a war that they declared on us!!!
Aleksandr: It never happened, but i wish Darci will make the Epico Event real. As for a real moment, the win against TCP was a good moment because I had to get the revenge for my old army that lost 6-0-7 to TCP.
Popes: Definitely the victory against the Templars is top of the list, but I also have to highlight the Lusohispanic division and the Latino Week that was organized. It was such a great and fun experience and it also allowed me to lead an event for the first time, even if only for half of it.
3- Did you ever feel like you were struggling to move up or make progress? What helped you get past those obstacles and keep going?
Jess: I can’t say that I have! I enjoy the pace I have been moving at, and really enjoy helping with the committees I am on. Isagi has always been a great help, getting me involved from the very beginning. Stevos was always a great resource and never hesitated to help when asked. I appreciate the help from all of the Staff and HCOV/Advisory within WV. But I also appreciate the help from Troops. They continue to be encouraging and rooting us all on. Always remember: Keep Moving Forward!
Emjay: I haven’t struggled per se, but the trajectory hasn’t been easy. If it wasn’t for the support I’ve received from my friends and peers, as well as the WV Leadership, I wouldn’t have progressed this much and gotten this far in this army. My advice is: take a breather when you need to and lean on those who are there for you. It’s okay to not be able to go above and beyond every single day, but if it truly matters to you, never give up.
Kev: There was one point when I wanted to quit. I gave a talk to Darci, and he helped me get through it. If it wasn’t for Mary, Kath, and Darci, I wouldn’t be here, and it made me push forward with everything.
Anna: I don’t think I can say I have struggled but just being staff and seeing all the hard work that goes into EVERYTHING, the planning, the communication, events, committees, recruiting xyz, it is a beautiful thing to see. The staff and higher up’s truly have been nothing but helpful and supportive even if I had felt a struggle, I know I can always rely on them. I am also so grateful for all the close relationships I’ve made within the community and will continue to nurture. I don’t think I would be anywhere without ALL THE SUPPORT!
Sarah: I don’t think that there is any specific time that I have really struggled, but there will always be hard days once in a while. I think the thing that helps me, is that I know that there’s an amazing team that is always there to help me, and be there, if I need anything!
Aleksandr: I had some moments last year that were obstacles for me, and that’s why I joined WV, to solve them in time. If u didn’t know, i was more active from March this year.
Popes: I think so, but I generally tend to overthink and question my own abilities. It’s really nice and amazing to know how all this works and how so much organized WV really is. It also felt intimidating at moments though. Despite that, everyone is so supportive and understanding that every doubt I have or obstacle I face has been and will be surmountable. The community keeps me going even when I question if I’m deserving of their trust. If I got here, it’s for some reason. And that applies to every single other WV.
4- How do you feel about this promotion? What are you most excited about moving forward?
Jess: I am excited for this promotion! I am happy to continue growing and learning to be the best I can be to support WV in all ways possible. We are one team, and always pick up where someone else can’t to make sure we are at our best. I am excited to see where the future takes us, and hope to be involved more in leading events and helping where ever our leader needs us.
Emjay: feel incredibly grateful and honored for this opportunity. I’ve tried my best not only to contribute to my beloved Lusohispanic Division, but also keep this community as inclusive and welcoming as it was when I joined. I am most excited to be able to keep growing this community and make people excited to participate and contribute as much as possible to our amazing army!
Kev: I’m still in shock but really happy, from this straightforward. I’ll carry LH to the limits and make Escot proud.
Anna: IM STILL IN SHOCK! I am so grateful for all the opportunities Water Vikings have given to me in such a short amount of time, and what a beautiful community we have here. I am excited to have more growth and see where this takes me! FEAR THE WAVE!!!
Sarah: I’m super excited and still a bit in shock! I’m so incredibly grateful that I got a double promotion!! Im super excited to host some fun Movie nights and Game nights, and to help grow this community!!
Aleksandr: I’m still surprised that i got a promotion that fast, i surpassed my first ever promotion from the first staff rank to the next one in my old army, and here I just did my work as others and I got it. I’m not that excited to move faster than my pace can keep because I want to repair some mistakes from the past.
Popes: It’s genuinely always very uplifting and exciting to be given a promotion and the opportunity to keep growing. I hope to give it justice! And I hope I can both contribute to WV in general and help build the LH division further!
5- Is there anything else you’d like to say to our wonderful community?
Jess: Just how truly amazing WV is. From the top to the bottom, everyone comes together to make the community what it is and I am so grateful to be part of it. Thank you all for trusting me to help WV become the best it can be!
Emjay: Above anything else, we’re a family. I cannot express how grateful I am for each and every one of you, and I hope you all know you will always have me to support you guys in any endeavor you face. ¡TEMAN LA OLA!
Kev: SIX SEVENNN!!! (Jk)
I want to say that y’all are wonderful people. I really enjoy talking with y’all, it brings me joy that I can interact with you all. This could never be done without y’all, I’m really proud of being here, as always. Fear the Wave!
Anna: Again, I just want to thank everyone for all the hard work that goes into being a part of this incredible community, you are all such amazing people, and we all bring something different to the table which is lovely to see. Appreciate you all and much love < 3
Sarah: I want to say, thank you for trusting this wonderful staff team, for trusting us to make fun events, and to keep you all safe!! And shoutout to Stevos, for recruiting me, almost 7 months ago!!!
Aleksandr: Darci, do the Epico Event or I will coup you. Thalia will execute me on December 1st at 7:30pm EST. I salute all the members from WV and some close people from my old army aswell.
Popes: I appreciate every single one of you and hope you all realize how fantastic you all are! If me and my fellow staff members got here it’s not only because of our work, but because of the force and support of the whole army too. And a special thank you to Stevos who brought me here and all the others who have been guiding me through this journey! đź’™
And that’s it folks. Make sure to congratulate them again once you see them in chat, they worked really hard to be in this position and you can too by attending events, helping with wvrr and just being active in chat with us!!
