48hrs: Leaders interview RPF vs WV

FrostbiteWater Vikings Capital — Hello, Water Vikings! While everyone is on the last stretch before the semi-finals. After receiving advice from the High Council of Vikings (HCOV), we went to see how our leaders were doing and how they were feeling about the big semi-finals against our brother allies: RPF.

Mr.West, our junior Media, had an exclusive interview with our four leaders regarding this new battle that will take place in 48 hours.

Now that we got one step out of the way how are we looking forward to the RPF battle?

Lydia: Looking very forward to it! I love our allies, and honestly it’s going to be a great battle. I hope it will be as fun as last years.

Escot: Definitely looking forward to a pretty close and fun battle. The last few battles were pretty exciting and close honestly even if we have the smaller size.

Darci: I’m definitely looking forward to facing our allies. There’s been a fierce past between us leading to some fantastic battles and we all had so much fun.

Stevos: I am very excited about it, we have a lot of history with our allies and every time we face them, it’s always been intense and a classic!

How might we reflect on the last battle, and what might we do to improve on that?

Lydia: Speed while making forms and precision has always been a huge one for the army. We really need to hammer it in that once you are in form, you shouldn’t move unless asked otherwise by a higher command member.

Escot: Speed and honestly how we make our forms because a few times before they were kinda bad but we’ve been training hard and more precise lately so hopefully these are fixed and we’ll see it on display Sunday.

Darci: I think speed is a primary factor to improve on, not just with getting in form, but with tactics as well so we can cover.

Stevos: We need to work on our formation speed and quality, that’s the biggest thing. Often times we become really bunched and we are hesitant to move. It’s something that we have been improving on slowly, adjustment on forms is super crucial and once we get that cracked down on, we will be amazing I’m sure.

How well do you think the staff is doing from this, and are they leading the troops effectively?

Lydia: I feel like our staff team has been doing very strong with this, and they have been a huge help in morality for the army. A lot of our staff have a strong sense of leading and know how to handle situation with other troops and help carry morale. I couldn’t ask for a better staff team, to be honest.

Escot: They’ve been pretty consistent at this, being a strong help and helping with a lot with retention as well. They know how to handle troops properly and effectively, they all have tremendous potential.

Darci: I believe our staff are doing a great job leading our troops in the right direction by assisting with the troop’s needs on CPAB. I definitely think we’re on the track of success 🙂

Stevos: Our staff have been amazing, they have brought so much positive and fun morale. Whether it’s in main chat or the server overall with helping around. They make troops feel welcome and included and that’s the best thing you can ask from an amazing staff team.

Will we start switching up the type of warmups we do and increase the difficulty?

Lydia: There is not much difficulty we could increase, but also increasing difficulty could be ineffective. The warm ups are to help people warm up for the actual battle and get in the battle mindset. If we try to go hard and make it difficult people will just leave. You need to lead people into the battle mindset, not force them.

Escot: Honestly it would be best if we keep it the same as what ppl are already accustomed to, you can also make mistakes if u pile a lot of stuff for the warmups entirely.

Darci: There’s only so much difficulty we can “increase.” Moreso, it’s perfecting the things we have been training with and finding ways to improve from there. More practice can never harm you.

Stevos: As long as we are using the same formula and we are consistently improving. It’s club penguin at the end of the day and we don’t want to stress the troops with overwhelming new stuff that gets them confused than what they are already used to.

How well is the newest leader, Darci doing?

Lydia: Darci has been doing very well, I am grateful we have a fourth leader for our tourney season. Summer is happening, activity can get very sparse but having extra leaders always make everything easier for everyone. Especially when all of us are active during various time zones.

Escot: Darci is doing amazing work with what him and kath are doing in retention and he’s been cooking . Honestly I’m excited for what he can achieve here when some of us are gone maybe.

Darci: I think Darci is doing good. He’s a yapper so if I see him in chat, I’m not surprised

Stevos: Darci has fit in nicely and already has been a big help and addition to our leadership. Constantly helping with retention alongside Kath. Also, being a super big help leading Ausia when the others leaders don’t have time cause we have busy schedules. Also he should stop watching kpop demon hunters

What are we doing to prepare for RPF?

Lydia: Training, training, training. Recruiting, recruiting, recruiting. If anyone is interested in helping make sure to sign up for WVRR and help us bring and welcome new people into the army!!!!

Escot: Huge retention efforts and training, recruiting and such. If you would like to join in on the help and help us break the curse please invite and get anyone you can involved with WV.

Darci: Training, but also getting troops on CPAB!!! The more people trained, the better.

Stevos: RETENTION AND RECRUITING! Something I value so much, answer any questions troops have in the server, get them involved, explain to them the tournament. The quality improves every time and we should continue to help out with this.
