As Mr. West said, today he interviewed the recently promoted Spore and Meslixx about reaching the rank of Viking Housecarl! They have both worked very hard to do this ever since they graduated from Viking Academy over 6 months ago. Read their interviews below to find out about their journey!
Tell me a bit about yourself and how you joined WV.
Meslixx:
Hii, my name is Meslixx or as some of u know me as Mes, I joined WV through an old advisor (Aisha) she was the one that got me into WV after I had a break from CPA
Spore:
My name is Spore, I’m mostly known for speaking about music. I joined Water Vikings because my friend laurel invited me to the server after telling me about an upcoming event last September
What were your most precious/important moments in WV? How did these boost you up to where you are today?
Meslixx:
In my opinion the best moments were the tournament hype and seeing other people getting promoted really made my day and made me smile and really happy and this gave me motivation to continue grinding till this day where I got promoted to Housecarl
Spore:
My most precious moments were promotions and the community. The promotions are what got me to become more active initially and then I started speaking to other members which got me to remain as a more active person.
Were there any times that you felt stumped when trying to rise up? How did you defeat these barriers and continue your grind?
Meslixx:
yes, there was one time after MM where I was REALLY expecting to get promoted and when the promotions got announced I didn’t find my name which rly made me sad and I almost quit WV entirely but I was thinking that promos aren’t THAT important bcz what rly counts is the work u put in to help grow the army and see ur work paying off is rly a big achievement which made me strong enough to stop thinking and just grind more.
Spore:
Honestly there was a huge situation that recently made me heavily stumped into wanting to give up, I remember not being too certain on my recruiting ability due to gettng locked out of my discord alt for a month due to no burner phone numbers working.
Now i was trying to rise up above this problem with the help of Kath and Stevos when it comes to CPJ recruiting. Only issue is, I was never normally too good at starting conversation out of no where in CPJ especially since I can’t see someone’s interests which made me less confident in myself causing a bit of demotivation. With some encouragement from peers, I kept on trying which I managed to start conversation but I never successfully recruited which I am still trying to do CPJ recruiting to this day.
Later on, I was managed to get my discord alt unlocked due to the help of Escot and Darci. They both provided temp phone number sites and i eventually found one that worked which made me stop wanting to give up.
How does it make you feel that you reached this level of accomplishment?
Meslixx:
I feel extremely HAPPY, since I joined the WV staff team last December I was always working on getting promoted and I’m glad that it finally paid off!
Spore:
Extremely glad honestly, I thought i was doing things wrong due to lack of recruits but it turns out i was on the right track.
If you had ONE thing to say to all of WeeVee what would it be?
Meslixx:
I appreciate everyone that has been part of my journey and helped me grow in WV whether it was my leaders, HCOM, advisory team, fellow staff and even troops, I love you all guys and idk how much I can thank u for everything!
There will be more to come hopefully and I wish that the grinding will never stop, FEAR THE FUCKING WAVE RAHHHHH AND LETS GET THAT LC TROPHY HOME

Honestly the things I have learnt as a staff is what i want to say to the entirety of Water Vikings. These things are that you shouldn’t give up easily and that you should always reach out for help when you are stuck.
