Frostbite, Viking Academy HQ – We are proud to officially launch Viking Academy, the Water Vikings’ new staff training program designed to train the very best. We are also excited to announce the successful completion of our first Viking Academy class and its inaugural graduates!

 Viking Academy was founded in early 2024 with one clear mission: Train and Succeed. The idea for the Academy was suggested by DrQueen, who recognized there was no proper training for incoming staff, which had operated on a “sink or swim” model back in 2022. Recognizing this needed to be a major fix in order to keep staff turnover rate low, Water Vikings SIT Training Academy (the Academy’s former name) was born.

As the program grew, it gained immense support with the addition of Cobra, who helped really push the plan under the FrostBite Plan—a strategic initiative to repair the inner workings of Water Viking’s internal structure. But it was Trails who truly revolutionized the Academy, bringing passionate dedication and a vision for staff growth. Under their leadership, and with the help of Rye and Clarie, Viking Academy transitioned from teaching staff using a collection of Google document guides into a full-fledged, robust staff training program, leading to the develop of the now name: “Viking Academy”

From there, we will like to thank each and every one of these new and current staff members who spent the last four week’s training, despite the up and downs and technical difficulties that occurred. Water Viking’s looks forward to continue to build upon this program to train the next generation of Water Vikings.
