Frostbite, Water Vikings Capital —. Did you miss me? ‘Cause I def missed you. We are back with another interview! If you missed the last episode, I mean, the last interview, we interviewed Stefan. Over the next few weeks, we will offer you an exclusive interview with six different people each week about their experience in the previous Legends Cup (from ex-staff to previous leaders!). In this: On the way to the Legend Cup: Interview, we sat down with our Water Vikings favourite Diva: Ango.
Let’s see what Ango have to say about the Legends Cup!
In this week’s episode, we sat down with Ango, ex-Viking Lord, who took part in one Legends Cup with Water Vikings in 2025.

When did you join WV?
I joined WV on the 1st of March 2025 at 2:52AM !!
Tell us a bit about yourself. / What rank did you reach, and what did you achieve before retiring?
The name’s Ango, or Mango, and I was a 3ic, a Viking Lord before retiring. I’ve received plenty of awards from the time I still was enrolled, like best HCOM member and Viking of the year! I’m still very proud of that one 🥹
also worst sleep schedule but we don’t talk about that one
At first, were you excited for the Legends Cup?
Legends Cup was something I’ve only heard/read about, so I was very eager to participate to my first one! Especially because the build-up to it was so hyped and motivating.
What achievements during LC were you most proud of from yourself and the army?
I was really proud of ourselves for the maxes we were pulling at each of those events. It’s really just the accumulation of everything we worked on, and it really paid off because of our stunning performance! I also really liked the team’s unison during that time. The staff team was really united, if I remember correctly.
When we faced our first two opponents (SR and TCP), how did you feel about the wins?
While the victories weren’t too unexpected in my point of view, it was still a step forward towards the finale and it felt amazing to see us climb, getting closer to it more and more.
Based on our performance last year and the momentum we have so far this year, do you think we can win LC?
My full trust goes into WV’s success! The team has been largely expanded with a bunch of great people, and surely a lot of people will be returning too, and then we have all the troops who are regular attendees… I’m sure we’ve got this in the bag! And I’ll attend the events too of course.
Anything to say to WV?
I’ve seen this community do great stuff and I’m sure I’ll keep seeing it do great stuff. I’ve seen it built from the ground up all the way back from March Madness when I joined, I’ve seen it reach the top 1 in the top 10 for weeks, I’ve seen it destroy opponents we thought we couldn’t beat. So no matter on how you look at the past, with our great maxes and community with nostalgia, or longing, I know that it will flourish and get even better if everyone works in unison for the good of this community, which I’m sure people already do. We’ll do great, no matter the result of LC, no matter the result of any tournaments. We’ll always do great.

Thank you Ango for taking the time to answer our questions even with a busy schedule. This conclude our second edition of On the way to Legends Cup! Who do you think will be our next person? Can you feel the hype for LC coming? Are YOU ready for Legends Cup? Let us know and as always: Fear the Wave!
