Hey Vikings!
Welcome to another edition of the Ocean Oracle! Club Penguin Journey (CPJ) has a mission for you, now untill September 2nd. It’s bursting with excitement, surprises, and challenges. So get ready to gear up, stay sharp, and tackle every twist and turn with this guide.
The mission can begin in two different ways:
- If you are already a PSA agent, the mission will begin in the HQ, where Gary will ask you to find Rookie in the Gift Shop, where it will be discovered that a chair is missing. Head upstairs to talk to Jet Pack Guy. Grab the corn kernels on the ground and and return to the HQ when prompted. The Spy Phone will be disabled due to PSA systems going down.
- If you are NOT a PSA agent, the events will happen in reverse order. You will instead find Rookie first, and upon noticing a chair is missing at the Gift Shop, he will send you to Jet Pack Guy upstairs. By telling him you want to help, he will agree to let you take the PSA Agent Quiz. Upon successful completion of the quiz, you will receive the Spy Phone and be asked to visit Gary at the HQ.
Ski Village broadcast
At the HQ, Herbert P. Bear will appear on the screen, revealing that he has hacked into the PSA broadcast system. Additionally, he is broadcasting at the Ski Village.
Meet Rookie at the Ski Village. After conversing with him, you will need to find a disc to stop Herbert’s broadcast. Head to the Lighthouse and grab the disc under the piano, and cleaning supplies next to the piano. Take the clean disc back to the Ski Village and insert it into the disc player. Herbert’s video will stop playing, but audio is unimpeded. This will require you to find the signal’s source. Click on the panel next to the disc player and solve the puzzle. Instructions are given in-game.
Corn Maze
Upon completing the puzzle, the signal will be revealed to originate from the Mine Shack. Head there and enter the corn maze. In the corn maze, you will need to find 4 pieces of paper and a wooden plank.
- The first piece of paper can be found right at the entrance.
- Take the bottom leftmost path from the entrance to find the second piece.
- From there, return to the entrance room, and this time take the path to the right. Take the top left path to the next room to grab the wooden plank.
- From that room, take the bottom right path to grab the third piece of paper.
- Return to the room with the plank, and from there take the top leftmost path. Take either of the two paths to the bottom right in the next room to grab the final piece of paper.
This will add the Super Corn Recipe to your inventory as an awards item. Now that you have the recipe and plank, return to the entrance of the maze. You can do so quickly using your map to travel to the Mine Shack and re-enter the maze.
Start with the bottom left path, and then take the path next to the watering can, then the kernels on the ground, then the fertilizer bag, then the hot sauce bottle, and finally the coffee. At the end of the maze, you will encounter a river. Use the plank when prompted to cross the river.
Popcorn bomb
At the room with the ladder, throw a snowball at the flame next to the crank to pop some corn. This will bring the ladder down and allow you to climb up. You will find Herbert and Klutzy at the top. Unplug the computer power cord out of the outlet. This will cause PSA systems to go back online, prompting Herbert to teleport you and a popcorn bomb back to the HQ.
Back in the HQ, Gary will ask you to find a way out while he attempts to diffuse the bomb. A hint can be found by clicking on the piece of paper taped to the cabinet on the right; translating the secret code gives “orange book”. Click the orange book on the desk next to the cabinet to reveal a puzzle that needs to be solved. Instructions can be found by pressing “Help”.
After solving the puzzle, Dot will emerge from the cabinet and teleport you, Gary, Rookie, and herself out of the HQ. Shortly afterward, the popcorn bomb will explode, destroying the HQ and Sport Shop. The mission will end with a cutscene and some dialogue, and you will be rewarded with the Mission 11 Medal and the second page of the Agent Status Interface.
Meeting Mascots
Dot has finally made her debut on the island! Get ready to meet the delightful master of disguise as she takes center stage in Operation: Veggie Villain. Together, we’ll work to foil Herbert’s latest plot against the island. With teamwork and determination, there’s no doubt we can overcome any challenge that comes our way!
Herbert has made his way onto the island, no doubt with a nefarious plan in mind. Thanks to our vigilant undercover agents, we’ve uncovered his secret plans and the times when he’ll be making his moves. But BEWARE—he’s extremely dangerous and clearly up to no good. Stay sharp, and be ready to put a stop to whatever schemes he has in store
Clickity click click! It seems the island has a brand-new guest causing a stir! Watch out, because Herbert’s not-so-innocent sidekick is officially making his island debut. Who knows what kind of mischief these two will cook up together? Don’t let him fool you! This little troublemaker is packed with potential for chaos.
