HELLO ONCE MORE, VIKINGS, as I promised, I’m back with part 2 of the last Cats and Pancakes show. I don’t think I need a big introduction, since you already know the theme, BUT it’s nice to see you again! I hope you enjoy reading it!

If the leaders were CPA tournaments, which one would they be?

Stevos

I think he would be Trick or Treats: Trials. This name fits him surprisingly well. At first, I wasn’t sure about this one, but the more I thought about it, the more it made sense… Every day with Stevos feels like you’re playing trick or treat because you never know what you’re going to get… Sometimes you have the leader who somehow balances work with Water Vikings, helping everyone, organizing things behind the scenes; that’s the treat.

And then, you’ll ask him what he’s doing and the answer could be “playing Club Penguin Journey” oooor, “going to the movies”…

I’m convinced this man has mastered the art of somehow fitting CPJ (Club Penguin Journey) into his busiest days, because this man, besides all he does for Water Vikings, he still has a j*b… Maybe he plays CPJ at his work, oh my god! Stevos, I hope I’m wrong…

But honestly, I don’t blame him; it’s a great game, I love it, I found out you could decorate your igloo, but my igloo is just for my 10 puffles, and I don’t think it has much more. ANYWAYS, Stevos is still a big CPJ lover…

He gives me some really good movie recommendations too; if it wasn’t him, I probably wouldn’t have watched “Project Hail Mary” or “Whiplash” (I recommend watching, in case you didn’t).

After all that, it’s already dinner time! Probably eating pizza, because I heard that Stevos likes it a lot! I should have asked him what his favourite pizza is. Personally, I’d say Puffle pizza…

But, anyways, that’s definitely the trick part… I genuinely think if you checked his browser history, it would just alternate between movie trailers, CPJ, and pizza places.

The funny thing is that the Trials part of the tournament fits him just as well, because I think Stevos has a few challenges during his daily life; let’s look at some of them, shall we?

The first one is trying to stay away from CPJ; unfortunately, I don’t think he has ever completed that trial before. I’m pretty sure that if you asked him what he was doing at any point during the day, there’s at least a 50% chance the answer would involve CPJ. I wouldn’t even be surprised if he has it open in the background while reading this…

The second thing, probably surviving all the “IF WE MAX 40, STEVOS WILL MEOW IN VC”; unfortunately, it never happened, but I’m pretty sure it would be good propaganda (please think about it, Stevos).

The third one, probably me throwing grass at him, I do not regret it- Now, you should ask me: “But Leo, why would you do that?” WHY NOT?

And the last one is trying not to send that bat-eating banana gif. Every time I talk to him, he sends that gif; I’m sure I’m not the only one who noticed this…

But, despite all that, there’s another one (serious moment and sorry, I lied). Stevos, an amazing leader and someone with an actual job, still manages to balance both of them, and sometimes people don’t notice how much he actually sacrifices for Water Vikings. That must be a big challenge for him, and I admire him for putting so much effort into this army; it’s incredible. Big applause to him!

(And to the other leaders too, of course)

SO, as usual, I had to interview at least someone for this amazing post; this time, I interviewed Stevos and Aaronstone, one of our HCOV.

Question: What’s your favourite CPA memory?

Stevos: Definitely getting promoted to Viking Commander; I didn’t have any passion years ago in CPA for it to be something I truly wanted. I worked really hard to get it and I think it was a surreal moment for me.

Question: What’s the proudest moment of your CPA career?

Stevos: The Rising Dawn TCP war, The day we were declared on by Templars, me and my other co-leaders were somewhat stressed going into it and we didnt know how it would play out. The fact that we pulled out a lot of troops for this and managed to go 13-0 is very impressive and is something I’ll never forget

Question: If Stevos wrote a book, what would the title be? Why?

Aaron: The Book of Sonion. Well everytime I talk to Stevos the conversation ends in the Sonion gif or the sonkey gif. But I see the Sonion one more so I’m gonna go with the book of Sonion.

I’m surprised, but this is so funny, thank you for answering my dumb dumb question!

Darci

Darci did his best to achieve this rank and will still go beyond to get this Legends Cup! He helped Staff-in-Trainings and troops with welcoming, he helps the Water Vikings, and he treats them with respect. Even tho he has a job, he prioritizes helping the Water Vikings when we need him the most. He puts his job in danger just to help this army.

So first of all, congratulations, Darci, for becoming a Viking Commander!

(Everyone claps and congratulates him in unison)

Now… Back to the show, he would be Beach Brawl!

Let’s start with the Beach part, because that’s the easiest one. Every time I open Discord, he’s either on vacation, just got back from one, or is already planning the next one… Lucky… At this point, I refuse to believe he actually lives in one place; I mean, imagine paying rent to live in a place where you won’t be staying at half of the year– maybe he rotates between hotels; that seems like a good idea. And I’m convinced that his suitcase never gets unpacked.

Being on vacation sounds relaxing, but Darci still has to be bothered by me spamming DMs with questions for Cats and Pancakes (thank you Vill for threatening him with a demotion; in case he didn’t answer your questions, this show should be a priority). But seriously, even on vacation, Darci worries about retention and about Water Vikings overall-

And he also has a job; this episode has too many employed people… Sounds scary-

Now the “Brawl” part, it’s not related to the battlefield he has behind his magical castle (he has one; I tried to break in, but I didn’t know the password. I hope he hasn’t found out about it yet…)

The “Brawl” part is probably Darci fighting against WiFi in the airport

Probably, Darci fighting the BalDarci allegations too; it has become his personality at this point! Don’t worry, Darci… It’s ok to be bald, and we won’t judge you, so you can admit it!

Or, him trying to win the voices in his head telling him to spam Kev’s DMs (this is mutual, I’m sure Kev struggles to do the same).

But, seriously, Darci is an amazing person, and once more, it’s great that he can balance work, vacations and WV; he has done a great job in retention too.

So, Vill has interviewed him, and I’ve interviewed Emjay!

Question: How do you feel after this promotion?

Darci: I feel good, this has been something I’ve been working towards for years honestly and it’s great that hard work finally paid off.

Question: If you were a food, what food would you be? Why?

Darci: I’d go with probably Danish Sugar Cookies cause I LOVE those sugar crystals on top
