How To Avoid Bunching
With March Madness coming up this Saturday (and with just a single practice battle on Friday on prepare until then), it’s important that we think about our formation. Formations in CP Armies are a critical aspect of winning any battle. These are the ‘defensive’ mechanisms which allows us to show off our size and fight off any attacks from the opposing army. Think of them as a shield of sorts; or a position which we can form that makes us harder to ‘cover’ and thus defeat. It’s not really about how big we are, but rather how big we look.
Bunching is by far the biggest issue with formations (aside from correctly forming the shape itself). The closer you are bunched, the harder it is to see how big we are. Having a good space between those around you, will make sure that your tactics aren’t being covered by your own troops. It’ll also make us look bigger.
Examples of bunching in recent events:
Avoid this by keeping a solid distance between you and those around you. Your tactics shouldn’t be covered theirs (unless it’s a large word tactic). For any emotes, they should be in-line and everyone’s should be perfectly visible. Otherwise you’re too close!
Stay APART!
Quote To Conclude:
“My speaking style was criticised by no less an authority than Arnold Schwarzenegger. It was a low moment, my friends, to have my rhetorical skills denounced by a monosyllabic Austrian cyborg.” – Boris Johnson
