Staff Come Back: Noa Return To The Staff Team

Frostbite, Water Vikings Capital. On October 14th, Water Vikings welcomed back a familiar face to the staff team: our amazing Noa. If you want to learn more about her and her journey with the Vikings, keep reading.

I had the chance to sit down with our beloved Noa for an interview.

How does it feel to return to the staff team after some time away?

It feels like coming home. I’ve genuinely missed being active in the community and I constantly found myself kind of lurking the main chat from the sidelines wishing I was still around. I’m really, really excited and happy to be here again.

What made you decide to come back to WeeVee, and what was the thing you missed most while you were gone?

Well, I’ve noticed a lot of changes within the staff team and it looked like the community could use some help. I had actually brought my interest in returning to a certain HCOV member a few weeks ago but nothing came of it, so when Aaron asked if I would be interested in rejoining, my immediate answer was yes. If there’s anything I can do to help Water Vikings, I’ll do it because the community is very important to me.

Is there anything specific you hope to accomplish during your time back on the team?

Right now, my main goal is to get back into the swing of things. I’d love to extend my standing as a staff member further than I was previously, if I am able to that is. Long term goals would be to have my own column that engages the community as a whole, something people can look forward to. I’m still trying to figure out what that is. If life isn’t too hectic, maybe HCOM, but that’s way down the line for me.

What do you enjoy most about being part of the Water Vikings staff community?

There’s a few things I like. I really enjoy writing for the website and coming up with event ideas like I did for Christmas last year. It’s really fulfilling for me to contribute to the server in these small ways because you never know what impact it will make. Overall, I think my absolute favorite thing is just knowing that all of us as staff members play a huge part in keeping the community alive. We work together as a team every single day and, to me, that just feels very familial.

What advice or message would you like to share with current and future staff members?

To the future staff members, I say take your time with things. Reach out if you need help and always communicate your needs. There are some very, very understanding and helpful people here who just want to see you grow and succeed. More importantly, have fun while you’re here!

There you have it, Vikings. We hope you enjoyed it, and be sure to wish Noa a welcome back if you haven’t yet. See you next time.
