Cats and Pancakes – HCOV in a battlefield

Hello sweeties! Welcome to the Cats and Pancakes Show, episode – I don’t remember! So, behind the scenes of this episode, a certain HCOV, whose name starts with C and ends with laire, gave us some great ideas for this episode, so thank you so much for the help, Claire! But anyways, I don’t have much more to say, so let’s see what’s today’s theme

If the HCOV were in a battlefield, what would happen?

Cobra

If Cobra was on a battlefield, he’d never be on the front lines. He’d be in the kitchen. Cobra will probably wonder whether the garlic bread needs another five minutes in the oven.

Every army needs someone to keep the soldiers fed, and i can absolutely picture Cobra running the field kitchen while everyone else is out there fighting. Instead of carrying a riffle, he’d be carrying pots, pans, and enough ingredients to feed the army.

And the battle would be CRAZY a few hundred meters away, meanwhile Cobra is arguing with another cook over whether the stew needs more salt.

Here’s how I imagine it:

“Commander! We’ve lost the eastern trench!”

“Okay, but has anyone checked on the bread?”

The funnier part is that, according to Thalia, eating Cobra’s food is basically a military gamble.

Thalia: Honestly? Depends what mood he’s in. He will either cook the best most perfect 5* Michelin three-course meal or he will give everyone food poisoning then chuck all our remains into the atlantic ocean.

And I feel like the Vikings agree; it’s really a 50/50

Aaronstone

If Cobra is running the battlefield kitchen, then Aaron is definitely his number one customer.

Forget scouting missions.

Forget guarding the camp.

Aaron’s real assignment is making sure Cobra’s food doesn’t go to waste.

Every military camp needs someone to make sure the food is safe before everyone else eats… and Aaron would happily volunteer. Not because he’s brave, but because it means he gets to eat first.

And according to Darci, Aaron‘s weapon would be a bazooka, and honestly, I can’t think of a more fitting choice. Not because it’s the most effective weapon on the battlefield, but because it’s the biggest. Which… certainly… matches him-

Question: What weapon would fit Aaron the most? Why?

Darci: A bazooka cause it’s big and explosive

Aaronstone threatening me

And then, I asked DrQ, Aaron’s girlfriend and our amazing VA minister, a very important question

Question: If Aaron had on battlefield rule, what would it be?

DrQ: When in doubt, multilog

I think it’s funny, because if Aaron is already capable of emptying the entire food tent, imagine what three Aarons could do. Poor Cobra wouldn’t stand a chance trying to keep everyone fed.

Raven

If Raven was on a real battlefield, I don’t think he’d ever be satisfied with being an ordinary soldier. Before the battle even started, he’d somehow have promoted himself to Commander. Nobody would remember voting for him; nobody would know who gave him the rank, but Raven would already be walking around camp acting like he was in charge of the entire operation.

“Who put you in command?

“Me”

Imagine Raven making a plan; he wouldn’t; he’d ask AI to do it…

Some poor soldier would spend hours carefully preparing a strategy, only for Raven to say:

“Hang on, ChatGPT has a better idea”

Anyways, I asked Raven a similar question but with different words so they can’t say I’m not creative enough…

Question: If your soldiers ignored every order except one, which one would you want them to follow? Why?

Raven: No roleplay. I hate roleplay

At this point, I think he’d be more upset about someone pretending to be a medieval knight than the enemy actually taking the castle.

Would Raven win the battle? Maybe. Would he convince everyone he was the commander regardless of the outcome? Absolutely!

Mabel

If Mabel was on a real battlefield, I don’t think she would wait for someone to tell her what to do. She would arrive already convinced she was in charge… The actual commander would be standing there explaining the battle plan, and Mabel would interrupt just to say:

“Actually… We’re doing it my way”

Nobody knows when she became commander; nobody remembers voting, but somehow, everyone follows her orders anyway… Honestly, it’s easier than arguing. The battle hasn’t even started yet, and she’s already pointing at soldiers, telling them where to stand, who to attack, what they’re doing wrong. And, if anyone questioned her authority?

I’d just listen

I also feel like Mabel would treat the battlefield like it’s her personal kingdom. She wouldn’t ask people to do things; she would expect them to.

Then, there’s one thing I never understood. Seals. Mabel must love seals… Mabel probably has an army of seals, and nobody would know how she got them there; nobody would know what they’re supposed to do, but Mabel would still be convinced they were helping…

“Release the seals!”

Claire

Claire would carry the flag, but please ask me: “Leo, that makes no sense, what flag is she even carrying?” Guys… Do you know Claire at all? Of course, the Brazilian flag. I think she would run around with the Brazilian flag, representing her country, or should I say the braSSSSSSSSilian flag…

Question: What do you think of BraZil? What do you like the most about it?

Claire: I honestly wouldn’t find a better place to be born in than BraSSSSSil, yes it has a lot of problems and we are very aware of that but here you find something that I personally didn’t find anywhere else so far, our culture. That’s what I love most about my country, the culture is vibrant, diverse and full of life, the music, food, traditions and the people. Brasil has a unique way of bringing people together and finding joy, growing up surrounded by such a rich cultural space has shaped who I am in a lot of ways and it’s something I’m very proud to share wherever I go.

Now… Most flag carriers would probably stay behind the front lines. Now Claire. She’d be fighting on the front lines. A flag in one hand and a weapon in the other

“Claire! Your job is to carry the flag, not fight”

“Why not both?”

And honestly? Slay! (Not literally… Or maybe- both)… Reading her interview, one thing that stood out was how determined she is. She describes herself as easygoing and goofy but also incredibly stubborn when it comes to pursuing her goals and standing up for what she believed in.

Also, have you ever noticed the kite on Claire’s profile and wondered what the meaning behind it is? Yes? Amazing, you’re reading the right show.

Question: If you had to defend one completely useless object with your life, what would you choose? Why?

Claire: A kite, hear me out. Everyone laughs on the unpractical and most ineffective item until they realize HA! It’s not just a kite, it may look like a silly object but it’s actually a weaponized kite with a razor string!!! Hell yeah, you’ve underestimated my choice and now you’re in a duel you never signed up for MWAHAHAHA. Sure, the odds are not in my favor, it’s still a kite, but neither are yours…

I found this so interesting, I had to include it in here. Amazing answer, thank you so much! This also explains why she would fight!

First of all, I’m sorry for the delay; I’ve been busier than usual (unfortunately).

Special thanks to Claire for helping us behind the scenes, Vill, as always, for helping me by suggesting this great theme and giving me other great ideas and Kath, who always helps me a lot!
