WHAT’S UP, WATER VIKINGS!
Around this time last year, we here at the Water Vikings successfully won our first ever March Madness tournament, March Madness IX, after many years of being snubbed of victory due to external factors outside of our control. For the first time in our history, we finally outdid our main March Madness competitor (and brother-ally), the Rebel Penguin Federation. This victory was not only filled with unexpected moments (such as maxing over 60), but was one of our greatest feats since the Water Vikings revival for the CPPS generation back in 2020. Indeed, the victory will forever be cherished as one of our best moments, and a great moment for the year of 2024 itself.
Just last month, Club Penguin Armies announced yet another rendition of the March Madness tournament – March Madness X. All of us here at the High Command of the Water Vikings are eager to defend our title as the March Madness champions for yet another year. To be able to consecutively win March Madness two years in a row, against all odds, would be nothing short of an amazing feat. In our journey to achieve this feat, we want all to take part and bring us to yet another year of victory!
So, at the drawing boards, we thought to ourselves – “what can we do to make March Madness truly ours“. To answer that, we here at the High Command of the Water Vikings are proud to present – March Madness: Ocean Steadfast.
With the first round of March Madness approaching this Sunday, we will be holding a competition for all Members and Staff of the Water Vikings!
The Ocean Steadfast competition will be a points-based system, and each task that you complete will grant you points! At the end of the month, the top 3 winners will be gifted a pool of rewards that they can choose from.
These rewards may include Nitro, Robux, Vbucks, Steam Gift Card, Amazon Gift Card, and Profile Decorations.
POINTS
- Recruiting: 10 points
- Registering: 15 points
- Attendance: 30 points per event
- Event Pictures: 1 point per picture
- Tactics: 1 point per tactic
- Sending Messages: 1 point per 100 messages
- Chatting in VC: 1 point per 1 hour spent in VC
- Meme: 5 points
- Video Meme: 10 points
- Game Night Attendance: 3 points
- Movie Night Attendance: 3 points
REWARDS
- 1st Place: A pool of items totaling $50 of their choosing
- 2nd Place: A pool of items totaling $30 of their choosing
- 3rd Place: Full Nitro
Everyone else who participates in March Madness: Ocean Steadfast will be entered into a raffle to win Basic Nitro, as well as extra Silver for everyone, which you can use to purchase various items in our market.
Additional rewards will be given after each battle in the tournament, depending on the goals we reach.
There will also be a podium for Members as well as Staff separately. Meaning, a total of 7 winners!
The competition officially begins as soon as this post is released, so get started as fast as you can!
