Valhalla & Mangoes Edition 18 : Special Interview with Noa [09/02/2026]

Good afternoon, Water Vikings!

Welcome to the eighteenth edition of Valhalla & Mangoes, where I conduct an interview towards a chosen troop that has proven to be active in the community and that has participated in making the army a better place.

Today, I had a very special guest and a very special friend to interview, a prominent member of the Water Vikings once, and still a welcome sight in the chat any day of the week! I’m of course talking about Noa! Check out the interview below!

So, to begin this interview, tell me a bit about yourself!

Hi, my name is Noa and I don’t have too many hobbies outside of my house. I generally enjoy staying indoors playing a video game, watching films or reading books. My favorite in all genres is horror. I’m also in school right now majoring in Forensic Science to be Dexter Morgan… a blood spatter analyst!

When did you first join WV?

I first joined Water Vikings back in November of 2024, if I remember correctly. I wasn’t in the army yet, per se, I was enlisted in RPF but January of 2025 is when I officially joined the ranks in Water Vikings and i’ve been here ever since!

What is the highest rank you achieved?

My highest rank was Viking Warrior. I would have liked to continue my journey with the server but life circumstances kept getting in the way and I became very busy.

What do you remember the most from your time in WV?

The one thing I remember the most from Water Vikings is the 2025 Legends Cup. I remember the build up, the excitement, the hype. It was so much fun to be apart of something that would be as big as it was. I became enlisted in Water Vikings at a time when the server was in a “rework” phase and we weren’t considered a major army at that time… but seeing the growth in the community, new people joining in every day and the amount of hard work that paid off in Legends Cup was surreal. I felt closer to the community than ever.

What is the thing you miss the most from the Water Vikings?

I would definitely say I miss being involved the most. When i’m in main chat now, I see a bunch of people i’m unfamiliar with which is slightly intimidating for me but that’s okay. I love seeing the community continue on.

If you were to change anything from back then, what would you change?

If I could change anything, I would change my first initial join in CPA to Water Vikings instead of RPF. Granted I do still have some very good friends that I keep in contact with from RPF, I 100% felt a better connected to WV almost instantly. The community we have here feels family-like and genuine and it’s a place I can consider a “home away from home” if there is such a thing on the internet.

If you had anything to say to the entire community, what would it be?

If you’re new here, welcome! I genuinely feel like staying here could be a place you can enjoy day in and day out. The people are friendly, helpful, and most of all, goofy. I love this community with my whole heart and I feel like it’s one of those that gives back in ways you wouldn’t expect it to. Enjoy your time here, join in, and have fun! For the Raven.

All throughout this interview, it is clear that Noa was and always has been an incredible member of the Water Vikings, and that the community part of the Water Vikings was the center of everything! Thank you again for your time Noa, and good luck with your studies!

For all the troops reading this, be sure to stay active in chat and participate to our events to have a chance to participate to the next edition of Valhalla & Mangoes that will happen next week, around the 09/09!
