Hello Water Vikings!
This month, we had dozens of awesome troops who helped us reach #3 on the Top Ten of the Month recently! However, one troop has stood out with their amazing dedication to the army ever since they joined in mid-May, joining WVRR, assisting lots in the Junior Media department, and attending tons of events—all while being an AUSIA troop. Without further ado, please congratulate Viking Captain Aero for being June’s Rookie of the Month!
Mary from Junior Media interviewed Aero about how he felt about receiving this award, and his goals!
First off, tell us a little about yourself, like your hobbies, music taste or anything!!
Well, one of the hobbies I have that I enjoy the most is planewatching, as I am both an avgeek and live with close proximity with my city’s largest airport. I like Vocal synth music, but I still listen to pop or game bgm from time to time.
Let’s rewind a bit—when did you first join WV, and what made you decide to stick around?
I first joined WV’s discord in mid-May to troll my friend, but “officially” joined the clan and did events starting from May 24th, and I stuck around because I just wanted to play club penguin.
Did you expect to be the Rookie of the Month? What was your first reaction when you found out about it!!
No I did not. I thought someone else would be RoTM as I didn’t really think I did anything to deserve it. I was understandably, shocked when I found out I did.
For members who are a little shy or nervous about talking in main chat, what advice would you give them?
Well, I’d say that you should just try talking in the server for a bit! I also did this, and now I’m an active member and RoTM… It definitely helps sorting servers you’d never chat in ever out from servers where you would.
What are your goals in WV? Is there anything you’d love to accomplish or see happen in the future?
I’d love to see a 24/7 minecraft server debut for the clan, or maybe me getting Viking Commodore.
