Recruiter of the Week: Escot, November 9th
Pingo: What do you think about being a WV Leader for a while? Do you think you have the hang of things?
Escot: It’s very awesome and interesting to be a leader. I’ve gotten accustomed to it quickly and it’s pretty smoothly. Yes I have the hang of things.
Pingo: Would you say that your IRL has affected you more and more as we stray away more and more from summer?
Escot: I don’t think my irl has affected me much lately but I just have school.
Pingo: Did you switch any of your current recruiting strats to accomodate the current time of year?
Escot: A tad, so far it’s still worked.
Pingo: What are your thoughts on the current state of CPPS servers? Do you think they would be a good place for armies to develop, as ROTW?
Escot: I would say they have great quality, it’s just harder to recruit from due to all the controversy and the recruits knowing about armies already.
Pingo:What motivates you to recruit and to be in WV?
Escot: What motivates me to recruit and be in WV overall is the community and autism that we have here. Tournaments motivate me a lot personally because it’s something I always want to win.
Pingo: What would be your favourite activity to do in WV?
Escot: My favorite activity to do in WV would be a game night prob, it’s pretty peak playing with other peeps and bonding with them more.
Pingo: Is there any recent memory you’ve added to your WV memories?
Escot: A recent memory would prob be OH or chilling in VC with friends or smth? I really enjoy being with friends like Isagi, Chong Lee, Humz, Ango, etc.
Pingo: If there was anything you could tell to the entire COMMUNITY, what would it be?
Escot: Have faith in yourself and believe you can do it. Be active in WVRR and consistently show it so it’s noticeable to rank up easily! KEEP up the great work and let’s win Christmas Chaos once again like we have before and let’s have a bright future for WV.
Recruiter of the Week: b2, November 16th
Via: To start us off with this interview, could you tell us a bit about yourself?
B2: Hi, my name’s B2. I like chess but that’s not all. I like playing games and I’ve been here for a bit trying to help out!
Via: What do you like to do the most during your free times?
B2: Play games maybe, I like chilling in WV too
Via: What was the biggest challenge you personally faced when trying to recruit somebody into WV?
B2: If you mean like someone who ended up joining, probably them saying some variation of no, and it’s rare that you’re able to convince someone who says no. Someone who didn’t end up joining, though, maybe adding me into a group chat and spamming their own discord server link it was kinda annoying
Via: Which member of the HCOV is most likely to accidentally sink a canoe?
B2: After deep thought, I have concluded that the member of the High Council of Vikings that is most likely to accidentally sink a canoe is Aaronstone42. My reasoning is that although other members of HCOV may not be able to row the canoe, Aaron would sink the canoe as soon as he steps on it due to his high body weight.
Via: What’s the funniest moment you’ve ever experienced during an event??
B2: There have probably been a lot of really funny moments that can be found on starboard but one of the most recent ones I can remember is us making a WD-40 form with Dillon.
Via: If an enemy army of ours decided to surrender by giving WV 500 complimentary bags of cookies, which HCOV would accept the surrender?
B2: I’m starting to feel like this and 4 were targeted at Aaron.. but yes it would absolutely be him.
Via: And alright to end off this interview, if you could basically say ANYTHING to the whole community what would it be?
B2: I would say that we should all get hyped to win christmas chaos woooo!
Chatter of the Week: Snowie, November 2nd
Via: Could you tell me a bit about yourself
Snowie: My name is Snowie but i have many nicknames like snowball, snowflake, the other snowie, the lawyer, snowman, and frosty the snowman.
Me: Do you have any favorite sports you would like to share ??
Snowie: I do like playing soccer and basket ball
Via: When did you first join WV?
Snowie: about a month? give or take (September 24)
Via: Do you have any favorite activity/moment in WV?
Snowie: I like all events, but my favourite moment was probably when rain, jazzie, and big brother were on at the same time and it got pretty crazy
Via: Do you have any favorite members in WV ??
Snowie: rain, jazzie, brother, ango, and oreo. Ur After oreo and Isagi is right after you
Via: If you could say ANYTHING to the whole community, what would it be?
Snowie: I love each annd everyone one of you guys and thank you for warmly welcoming me even though we were complete strangers.you have such a huge impact in my life even if u dont know it! TY for existing!! Live life strong and dont give up
Chatter of the Week: Spin, November 9th
Via: To start off with this interview, please tell us your name.
Spin: Hello! I’m Spin, presently a Third in Command.
Via: Do you have any hobbies you would like to share with us today?
Spin: Nothing as interesting to share.
Via: Alright moving on to more questions about WV, could you tell us when you first join?
Spin: I was approached by Cobra to join WV, and given that Water Viking has always been an army I wanted to be a part of once, it was a no brainer to accept. My official join date is 17th August
Via: What is one specific challenge you’ve had to overcome while being part of the Higher Command team?
Spin: Being a HCOM definitely could definitely come with challenges in the road, however we obviously try to work with calm and composure, and overcome them, through our unity. I’ve not faced such a significant challenge yet, but I’m confident to pass through any mightily.
Via: If the Water Vikings could rename themselves after a food item that describes them what would it be and why?
Spin: Watermelon Vikings
Via: This may seem like a not very serious question but, what are your thoughts on Aaron being the fattest HCOV in Water Vikings?
Spin: I need to keep my job, so yeah no comments.
Via: If you could say ANYTHING to the whole community, what would it be?
Spin: Balance your time irl with armies efficiently and keep engaging in the community, attend events and show initiatives in WVRR!
Chatter of the Week: Kath, November 16th
b2: Hi Kath, you got chatter of the week for the past week, congrats! For our post I’ll be interviewing you if that’s ok, it would be great if you could answer a few questions
Kath: Oki wait what
b2: First, tell me a bit about yourself!
Kath: About myself… I’m just a silly goose. Okay no joke aside, I’m someone who’s really easygoing and like to talk to people!
b2: I know that you just recently enlisted in WV–how’s that been for you? You also just recently got Staff-in-Training, congratulations, are you excited to help out as a WV staff member?
Kath: Freshly enlisted, indeed! To be honest, it’s going amazing. Everyone is really nice. & Thank you! I’m ready for the new challenge to help WV to rise again 🫡
b2: What motivates you to chat?
Kath: I guess it’s my extrovert self that just like to chat with everyone and make people feel welcomed!
b2: Did you expect to get Chatter of the Week this week?
Kath: I had no idea that I was in top chatter of the week so to be honest, not at all! Really a surprise to me to have it!
b2: Anything else you want to say to WV?
