Designed by Rye Bread

Good evening, Water Vikings!

As some of you may know, every week, there is awards that are given to some selected troops because of their behaviour and their actions to help and sustain the community of the Water Vikings.

This week, a lucky four were chosen to be the bearers of such titles and through those awards, I have been chosen to give them interviews! So dive with me in this post to learn about each winners of each weekly awards, may it be Chatter, Staff, Recruiter or Viking of the Week!

Viking of the Week: Humz

Tell me a bit about yourself.

i am humz, a retired FPS pro and uh i’m a nice person and like uh i am nice but yeh and like yeh and i’m british so yeh

What do you think of the Water Vikings?

very beautiful and amazing

What about your place in the army? Do you think you are comfortable, stressed…

yes my mental health has actually been way much better from the community and obviously your funny mango personnality

What would be your goal here in Water Vikings?

make some good connections and have fun

What do you do outside of Water Vikings?

working out gaming chilling eating and sleeping

If you had any piece of advice to people who’d like to get this award, what would it be?

live life in the right way because u only have one chance to make it right

Staff of the Week: Vill

Tell me a bit about yourself.

Im Vill, im greek and i like gyro. It’s so good. Also, my favourite color is green.

As a Staff of the army, how do you like it?

I love the army. When i joined i wanted to become a staff member so bad. There are many funny and cool people in there like Ango (i said that cuz he threatened me i swear) like Trails, Escot etc. They, also, very helpful with the army.

No threats were made.

Do you think that the time you dedicate for outside activities is affected by the Army?

The only thing that helped me, not only in Water Vikings, but in CPA too. Is the post writing. When i became a reporter in CPA i learned how to make not only an event post but a smoll paragraph. I mean, i dont think i’ll use that in real life but i guess i need it. Also, again, not only Water Vikings, CPA/CPAB “teached” me a bit of english. Some years ago i didn’t know what the word “her” was.

And do you think being an Army staff has been a more positive or negative experience?

Depends from the environment. If the army has negativity, it will be a negative experience. If the army has positivity, it will be a positive experience.

To wrap this up, if you had anything to say to people that’d like to reach a staff rank or become Staff of the Week, what would you tell them?

I would say, to keep helping the army grow. Help, like, recruiting, welcoming, help or guide new people, writing event posts. There is obviously some more “ways” to help the army but i just said the “main” things to do. (It’s necessary to do these things if you are staff anyway so)

Keep working hard. The work you are doing is not going unnoticed. HCOMs or Leaders see your work. Keep it up and you’ll reach somewhere. 🙂

Chatter of the Week: Ango

Tell me a bit about yourself.

I’m Ango, also known as Mango, or Ango the Amazing! I’m a recent staff member here in Water Vikings. I play a lot of games like Overwatch or WoW. I like grammar and punctuation.

How are you liking Water Vikings so far?

I really enjoy this army, being my first experience in CPAB! Great community, good fun.

How does it feel to be the Chatter of the Week consistently every week?

It feels nice to be fair, but it’s not too dramatic as well, like it’s just one award that is going away in like a week…Maybe. In my case, it’s a very doubtful “maybe”. It still gives me a sense of pride as I know that no one has dethroned me yet. Of course, I’ll gladly accept anyone dethroning me, as long as it’s justified. I have been Chatter of the Week for most of my time spent here in Water Vikings so like, I’m not close on losing my title of Heart of Chat. Mwahaha.

What about Water Vikings causes you to chat here so much?

That’s an interesting question that I haven’t pondered on since now basically. I think that what brings me back every day to chat in Water Vikings is just the mainly positive ambience of the people talking in the chat, as well as the laid-back and humorous community. Through the army I have gained many friends so I don’t plan on leaving any time soon. Even with the fact that I am on leave and have a lot of stuff to do on the side, I still type a lot lot lot. I think I’m addicted and need a therapist but what does that say about Water Vikings’ community? That it’s great to get into and to talk to people. And for those reasons, I won’t be leaving; even while on a break, even while on leave, even if I’m in the hospital, even if I’m at a funeral. You won’t get rid of me that easily.

For anyone who wanted to get Chatter of the Week next week, what is some advice you would give to them?

The advice I would give is to not chase Chatter of the Week because I’ll get it anyway. Nah, more seriously, just don’t think too much about what you say in the chat, as long as it stays in line with the rules. I’ve been doing it since I joined, since that famous line “Step back to admire the awesomeness that just appeared!” that I sent on the 1st of March 2025 at 2:52am. And now I am well known to people who are active and keep the chat alive! It’s great to get to know people better, that’s what you should be focused on.

Recruiter of the WeekSaber

Tell me a bit about yourself.

Im a pretty friendly dude who likes going to the gym, hanging out with my friends and ofc recruiting. I also have an ATV which i like driving

How are you liking it here in Water Vikings?

I love it here ngl. Friendly people (shout out to clairsyballs) and a lot to do as a troop ngl.

What motivates you to recruit?

What motivates me? Probably that recruiting helps our dear Water Vikings grow as a whole and as an army ofc. Also dinos wonderful words and ofc our dear Escot too.

What would be your ultimate goal from recruiting in the army?

Becoming n.1 on the top ten ofc. And also to grow water vikings into a massive army

If someone else wanted to get this award and progress in the army, what advice would you give them?

Just RECRUIT THE POWAH! Also to get this award, remember to sign up for wvrr so u have a chance to get it like me. And if u want to progress in Water Vikings, chat and yap somewhat a lot, like ango. Also for the new people on pc, i suggest split screening cpab and dc to send tactics faster.

That concludes the interviews for the Weekly Awards winners! Thank you to Humz, Vill and Saber for the interview and thank you to Stefan for interviewing me. Until next time, Water Vikings!
